How to wash a ceramic coated car
Hand wash a ceramic coated car with a pH-neutral shampoo and clean microfibre mitts, and wait 7 days after installation before the first wash. A coating makes washing easier; it does not replace it.

The first week
Do not wash the car for the first 7 days after installation.
Every wash
Work top to bottom with a pH-neutral shampoo and a separate mitt for wheels. Dry with a plush microfibre towel. Avoid automatic brush washes and abrasive polishes.
Once a year
Bring the car back for its free annual inspection, which keeps the warranty in order.
