Plain terms for every service we warranty. Your care guide explains how to keep it in place.

Ceramic coating
Covered for 3 or 5 years. Issued by YYZ Detailing Haus. Coverage transfers to the new owner when the car is sold.
Covered
Failure of the coating itself — loss of its protective, hydrophobic properties or visible degradation — under normal use and the maintenance in your care guide.
Not covered
- Rock chips, scratches, scuffs and impact damage
- Collision damage and any panel that is repaired or repainted
- Damage from automatic brush washes, abrasive or harsh chemicals
- Contaminants left on the paint long enough to etch it
- Defects that existed before the coating was applied
- Normal wear.
To stay covered
- We register your coating to your car at handover and keep the record for the life of the warranty
- A free annual inspection within 30 days of your install anniversary
- Care as described in the care guide.
Paint protection film
Covered
Yellowing, cracking, bubbling, peeling, lifting and delamination caused by the film or its installation.
Not covered
- Cuts, tears and punctures from impacts — the damage the film exists to take
- Edge lifting caused by pressure washing at close range
- Damage from solvents or abrasive products
- Collision damage, repairs or repaint.
Covered for 10 years. The film is warranted by its manufacturer (XPEL or 3M, depending on the film installed) and the installation by us. The film warranty term follows the manufacturer's warranty for the film we install. We handle either claim for you.
To stay covered
- A maintenance wash with us every 4 months
- Care as described in the care guide.
Window tint
Covered
Bubbling, peeling, cracking, delamination and colour change, for as long as the original owner owns the vehicle.
Not covered
- Scratches or cuts from use, cleaning tools or objects
- Damage from ammonia-based or abrasive cleaners
- Broken or replaced glass.
Paint correction and detailing
These are services, not coatings, so they carry no time-based warranty. Every car is inspected with you at handover under studio light. If anything isn't right, tell us then — or within 72 hours of pickup — and we'll put it right.
How to make a claim
- Call 647-323-7867 or email yyzdetailinghausto@gmail.com with your name, vehicle and install date.
- Send a photo of the issue if you can.
- Bring the car to the studio for inspection — at no charge for a covered claim.
- If the issue is covered, we repair or re-apply the affected area. Warranty remedies are repair or re-application, not cash refunds.
Questions
Does it transfer if I sell the car?
Ceramic and PPF: yes, coverage transfers to the new owner. Tint: no, coverage stays with the original owner.
Is there a cost for the annual inspection?
No. Annual inspections are free.
Your rights
This warranty is in addition to your rights under Ontario and Canadian law and does not limit them.
