One film, priced by vehicle
The price changes with the vehicle size, because larger vehicles have more glass. All windows with the windshield, and removal of old film, are separate prices shown on the tint page. The table below shows the current side-and-rear prices.
What's installed within that time
The Carbon — All Windows package covers every side window and the rear glass, with a choice of shade on the rear windows. Carbon is the only film the studio installs, so there is no second tint option with a different install time to compare it against.
Why carbon film is used
Carbon film contains no metal, so it should not interfere with phone, GPS or keyless entry signals. It is also chosen for resisting fading and a purple shift over time, and is the only film type offered by the studio.
What section 73 says
Section 73(2) prohibits window coatings that obstruct the driver’s view of the highway or an intersecting highway. Section 73(3) addresses coloured or reflective material on the windshield or windows directly left and right of the driver that substantially obscures the interior when viewed from outside.
Do not rely on a single percentage
A film shade alone is not a guarantee of compliance. Factory glass and applied film together affect visibility. Inspection requirements and road-use law are not interchangeable; ask the studio to confirm the proposed front-side shade before installation.
Caring for the film in the days after install
Keep windows up for 3 to 4 days after installation and clean with an ammonia-free glass cleaner and soft microfibre. Haze, streaks or small water pockets can remain for up to 2 weeks in cold weather while the film dries; do not press them out. Avoid blades, scrapers and abrasive pads, and take care when loading objects past the glass. Rear defroster lines can be used once the film has cured. Follow the handover care guide and contact the studio if you have a concern.
Booking around the estimate
Because "most cars are done in under 90 minutes" is an estimate rather than a fixed time, ask about collection timing if you have another commitment. The studio has a lounge where you can wait. Confirm the vehicle and shade before work starts, and ask about any existing film that needs attention. The quoted time describes installation, not the days afterward when the film dries and the windows must remain up.
